RAF West Raynham
Flying stopped at RAF West Raynham in 1975 with 85sqn using EE Canberra's becoming a bloodhound missile site continuing that role for 27 years, during this time was the centre for training on the Rapier surface to air missile.
RAF West Raynham finally closed in 1992 after being a bloodhound missile site for 27 years. Other aircraft's based at the airfield where the Meteor, Hawker Hunters and The Kestrel Evaluation Squadron.
